Here's a little fun

If you remember awhile back I said that I was working on putting some time lapsed videos together of some of the small paintings that I have done. Well here is the first one, staring the "Cow on a Hill" painting. Since all ideas stem from our own experiences in life I would like to give credit to the individual who sparked this idea for me, Carel Brest Van Kempen. He is a wonderful artist and I first saw the idea of doing these time lapsed videos on his blog and thought that that was just a great idea. So... thank you Carel and when you have an opportunity visit his blog. Enjoy the short video.

    WOW! Robert I think you should add a small bit including the time spent waiting for your object to appear in its natural habitat. Ha! How about the hours it took for 2 Bengal cats to strike that perfect pose?! Love your work,

Dam Painting update

Work in progress... A quick update on the "Dam Painting."  I have finished drawing in the under drawing and believe that it is now ready to have some color added to it! Although I more than likely will not do that for a couple of more weeks, after school starts back in so that I can have larger blocks of time to paint. Until then you can see the finished under drawing below and I will get to work on the next under drawing for another painting, this one is of a beautiful roof line from Charleston , South Carolina.

RAS drawing nears completion

The RAS drawing draws near to completion. It will be wrapped up by Tuesday and I will post the finished drawing along with its title on Wednesday, October 31. I have gotten some good suggestions so far for the title, but keep them coming. Title suggestions so far: "Morning Coffee" "Coffee Break" "I Asked for Tea!"
