Paul Rhymer solo exhibit

At the Ward Museum…

The Bronze Sculpture of Paul Rhymer
The Ward Museum
The LaMay Gallery
Salisbury, Maryland
January 29 – March 28

My friend and fellow artist Paul Rhymer’s solo exhibit at the Ward Museum in Salisbury, MD opened last Friday night. The LaMay Gallery in the Ward Museum showcases a selection of bronzes by Paul. Paul is a multiple Ward World Champion sculpture winner, and his pieces have been featured in many exhibitions, including the Society of Animal Artists’ Art and the Animal and the Leigh Yawkey Woodson Museum’s Birds in Art. His works appears in the Denver Zoo, the National Museum of Natural History, and the Hiram Blauvelt Museum of Wildlife Art. The exhibit will be open until March 28, 2010.

If you have the opportunity to travel to Salisbury, Maryland stop in at the Museum to view the exhibit. Paul’s work is outstanding and I feel extremely lucky to have one of his pieces in my collection.

Certainly one of the most annoying pests, ticks should be removed as soon as possible. Contrary to common practice, ticks should not be removed with a match. This will cause the tick to expel its fluids into your blood stream, increasing your risk of disease. Whether they build their houses in the tops of trees or clear a little space out of the dense forest, these people are entirely dependant on the forest and the things it provides. They know all the plants, animals, sources of food and medicine. These people are as endangered as the forest themselves.High-speed crashes, car collisions, potholes, slippery surfaces and falling detritus are head-injury risks, and bike helmets are manufactured to optimize skull and brain protection. High-tech plastics, crushable metal foams and resilient cork and balsa are common helmet materials. Sports glasses and attachable helmet-visors protect your eyes and imrpove navigation. Triathlon athletes are competing against the clock, even when transitioning from one event to the next, so every second counts. Road shoes take a little longer to put on, but there is no need to rush before the beginning of a regular cycle road race.. Well, to be honest it always was - cycle reviews are rarely written by tourists. The bikes you see in the shops are mostly race replicas or mountain bikes (ATBs), but both of these have serious weaknesses compared to classic tourers. Gently rub the mixture into the stain using a soft towel or brush. A dampened towel is used to rinse out the vinegar mixture, followed by a dry towel to blot the area dry. If the stain isn't removed the first time, repeat the process until it is gone.
