The mad dash to SEWE

Coming up to the final days of prep for the Southeastern Wildlife Exhibition in Charleston, SC. Below are the couple of pieces that I have been trying to squeeze in before leaving.

Green heron painting - the whole painting is now blocked in with color. I will not be able to finish this one in time because it takes so long for sap green to dry and the whole background is pretty much sap green.

"Cow on a Hill," Oil, 5 x 8

This painting is finished. I am just waiting for it to dry so that I can sign it and frame it for SEWE

"Over Pamlico Sound (Brown Pelican)," detailed sketch, 5 x 8
