Work on a couple of small pieces

These are the two pieces that I am currently working on. They are small, 5 x 9 and 5 x 8 oil paintings. I should have these finished in time to take to Charleston with me along with some small pencil drawings (detailed sketches) that I am also working on. When I am done with the current two small paintings I will have a step by step short video of each so you can see them from start to finish. I am hoping to have that completed before I go as well... back to work!

Work in progress... A quick update on the "Dam Painting."  I have finished drawing in the under drawing and believe that it is now ready to have some color added to it! Although I more than likely will not do that for a couple of more weeks, after school starts back in so that I can have larger blocks of time to paint. Until then you can see the finished under drawing below and I will get to work on the next under drawing for another painting, this one is of a beautiful roof line from Charleston , South Carolina.

RAS drawing nears completion

The RAS drawing draws near to completion. It will be wrapped up by Tuesday and I will post the finished drawing along with its title on Wednesday, October 31. I have gotten some good suggestions so far for the title, but keep them coming. Title suggestions so far: "Morning Coffee" "Coffee Break" "I Asked for Tea!"
