Ibis's painting almost done!

Here is the latest progress image of the Ibis's painting. Second layer of color is done on the background and foreground marsh grass and the water is also finished. I will go in and put some detail into the grass and water when finished with the birds, I can't do that now because the paint is still wet and I have learned to be patient and just let the paint dry before moving on to the fun detail work.

    Just found your blog- I see you are a member of AFC as well. Beautiful work. Congrats on the graphite piece being accepted. Enjoyed seeing the WIP's. I'll be back. :-)

Work in progress... A quick update on the "Dam Painting."  I have finished drawing in the under drawing and believe that it is now ready to have some color added to it! Although I more than likely will not do that for a couple of more weeks, after school starts back in so that I can have larger blocks of time to paint. Until then you can see the finished under drawing below and I will get to work on the next under drawing for another painting, this one is of a beautiful roof line from Charleston , South Carolina.

RAS drawing nears completion

The RAS drawing draws near to completion. It will be wrapped up by Tuesday and I will post the finished drawing along with its title on Wednesday, October 31. I have gotten some good suggestions so far for the title, but keep them coming. Title suggestions so far: "Morning Coffee" "Coffee Break" "I Asked for Tea!"
