Presenting "Your Majesty, Black Vulture"
Well, it's finished!
Below is the completed drawing of the black vulture, and I have titled it "Your Majesty, Black Vulture" because of the feather structure around the neck. Those feathers give a feeling of an Elizabethan collar.
The feathers on the back that are fluffed out are what grabbed my attention to this particular bird and composition. The contrast of the light reflecting off the feathers with the deep black shadows are what made this a good piece to do in graphite.
